Camera M 7.4 New iPad Experience Update
This update primarily focuses on the iPad user interface. In efforts to make Camera M more at home on iPad, we decided to revamp the whole interface to make it more ergonomic and more user-friendly.
Two-Handed Controls
We usually hold iPads with both hands, which is very different from the one-handed use of iPhones. So we dedicated the right hand to all the main camera control functions and the left hand to manual controls and tools. Meanwhile, we moved out any of the controls in the bottom center. This should make a significant difference in how you use Camera M on your iPad.
Other bug fixes
Photo capture using Siri Shortcuts now works as intended – This feature has not worked as intended in the last few versions. We restored the functionality. (Thank you, Wilbur)
HDR Photo viewing is now available only on capable screens – We introduced HDR photo viewing with version 7.0 back in October. We realized on devices without full HDR viewing capability, the images look overblown in brightness. This was highly apparent on older iPads and iPhones without OLED displays. We managed to only show the full dynamic range on capable iPads and iPhones with OLED displays.
